Short and sweet though this tour is the shows have been very memorable and make a strong argument for coming back sooner than we plan. Thursday at the Queen’s was the perfect night to become reacquainted with the stage! We had a solid turnout and excellent performances from all the bands, and it felt amazing to get back up and play in front of an audience! It was great to see so many repeat and friendly faces. Other than a few spots of rust, the show went off without a hitch.

The bus is all packed up and we made it all the way to the ferry, but it wouldn’t be an IRON KINGDOM trip if something didn’t go just a little wrong right at the beginning. Last time we set out for the Island we had a problem with our driver side brake caliber, and it seems that it was our passenger side’s turn this time. The sweet dreams of touring are over and it is back to reality for us! Coming home is a bittersweet thing: on one hand you have guaranteed clean indoor plumbing, laundry services and a fridge full of food; and on the other you have the reality of working a normal job and a consistently evil alarm clock.
